Grills just wanna have fun

Summer feels like it’s here, so we’ve been itching to spend more time on the back deck with our beloved grill.

Sadly, the photo isn’t of our grill or our backyard — we shot it at a house party in Aspen hosted by Mario Batali — but it doesn’t matter what kind of grill you have, you can make amazing food on it.

So here are a few of our favorites that we’re sure to make again this season.

Spicy cheeseburger on a pretzel bun – Fun, spicy burger with one of my favorite condiments: Wickles pickles.

One of my staples, and a recipe that I’ve gradually tweaked over the years, foil-baked potatoes. A super-easy and delicious side dish for any grilled meal (and you can cook it while you’re grilling a steak).

A new take on grilled sweet corn (which we’re both anxiously awaiting to arrive at the local markets): grill corn with tequila.

And, since it’s summer (or going to be soon), you’ll want to finish off the meal with some homemade ice cream, such as this mint ice cream.
