I'm really disappointed in a high end company like Melissa's selling pine nuts from China. I try to be aware of the source of most things I purchase these days (a challenge in itself if you're looking for USA!), and never even check Melissa's. Big mistake. I had them in the freezer with an Oct 2010 date and unfortunately used them in a penne with roasted red pepper sauce dish. I'm in my 3rd day of pine mouth and had to cancel a 5 course wine tasting dinner with friends this evening, hosted by my best friend's son. I will attempt the lemon treatment with hopes it works. Thank you so much for you input. I did notice in checking Melissa's website today that her package is now labeled "Italian Pine Nuts"!!
